The Rotary Club of Greater Tezpur had the honour of hosting the District Governor (DG) on 20th April 2026. The visit was marked by meaningful engagements, project reviews, and fellowship among members. The day commenced with the DG’s visit to the Global Grant Project – Palliative Care Ward at Baptist Christian Hospital. The DG appreciated the club’s dedicated efforts in strengthening healthcare services for the community and commended the impact of the project in providing compassionate care to patients. Following this, the DG visited the second Global Grant Project at Vivekanand School, where the club has developed a Science Lab, Mathematics Lab, and Computer Lab. The initiative aims to enhance educational infrastructure and provide better learning opportunities for students. The DG expressed satisfaction with the quality and vision of the project.
